Bandit is a 5 year old male Boxer cross Bullmastiff. “I found myself on death row in a pound due to being an unclaimed stray, most likely dumped by my previous owner.
When I arrived, I needed surgery on a malignant tumour on my neck. This has now been removed, with good margins and a good prognosis.
I also had entropion in one of my eyes, and SEDR has also had this surgically corrected.
I have also now been neutered! I am a big strong boy who thinks he can sit on your lap like a chihuahua!
I adore people and was a perfect and much-loved patient at the vet, even when I was being poked and prodded!!
I have shown zero aggression to people in any scenario. Sadly, it appears I have had little socialisation with other dogs, so a dog and pet-free home is a must!
I love my walks and walk fairly well on the lead once I get past the initial excitement of going walkies!
You will need to be physically fit and strong though to walk me! I travel well in the car and could live with children aged 8 and over who are used to bigger dogs.
I’ve heard that middle-aged brindle crossbreed dogs struggle to find homes, and that makes me so sad as I am fed up being in kennels and miss being part of a family.” – Quote
