Willow is a 3 month old female Boxer Cross. This gorgeous brindle litter were found by someone out walking their dog. They had been abandoned just off the roadside, dumped in a bin bag, and it was their desperate cries that alerted the family to their plight. The pups were tiny, and without their mother. Unfortunately one of them had already passed away, and shortly after their rescue another two died.
The five puppies that made it are now in a foster home in Cyprus and have just begun their veterinary preparation. Based on their appearance we think that they might have some Boxer in their gene pool, but they’re still so small that it’s hard to be certain at this stage. They all have stunning markings and are going to grow up into beautiful young dogs.
Winnie is a very loving little thing with striking ice blue eyes and lighter coat colours than her sisters. She’s one of the more sociable puppies and loves being fussed over by people. Ebba is very confident and nothing seems to phase her despite her rough beginning. She is very affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is easygoing and adaptable.
Minnie is a playful puppy and gets very excited when she’s showered with affection. She’s cheeky and is learning to chew her toys rather than a trouser leg, but is getting to grips with what is on and off limits pretty fast! Martha is timid on first meeting new people, and she’s one of the more reserved pups of the litter. Sometimes her siblings’ fun and games are a bit much for her, so she needs a little reassurance. She loves a tummy rub and is a submissive character.
Willow is a happy, super loving little pup, confident and full of joy. She likes to explore and is very curious and inquisitive. She’s always up to play and is hilarious when she gets zoomies! We’re still getting to know the puppies, but we’re looking for patient family homes that are committed to training their new puppy to help them be the best version of themselves as adults.
Pups are lots of work, but the rewards are so worth it. We’re looking for homes with children aged 5+ as the puppies have had limited exposure to young children, and we expect them to be fairly active as adult dogs. They can all be rehomed alongside other dogs, but haven’t had the opportunity to live alongside cats in a home environment before.
The puppies are not accustomed to living a conventional indoor lifestyle and will need lots of patience and continued socialisation when adopted. We think they would be best suited to homes with direct access to a garden, and with a family who enjoy an outdoorsy lifestyle. The pups are currently in Cyprus and have a clean bill of health. They are ready to travel once they find their forever homes.
