Clarke, Male, 7-years-old, Boxer Cross
Poor Clarke has spent most of his life in kennels. He is looking for an adult only home where there are no other pets.
Clarke has spent the last few weeks in a lovely foster home where they have described him as a diamond of a dog. This is what else they had to say.
Clarke is a handsome bundle of joy and love, who enjoys nothing more than a big hug. He is an absolute pleasure to have around the house and makes no mess at all.
He loves nothing more than to roll onto his back for a belly scratch. He’s house trained and extremely well-mannered; He knows sit, paw, lay-down and constantly has the biggest, infectious smile on his face.
He is very excitable when he senses that a walk is due, so can bark, jump, and mouth at your feet. He will need a confident owner to help him with this.
He is also very strong on the lead, particularly when he sees squirrels or any other dogs – he can become quite reactive so experience with large dogs is imperative. He may require further training in this area.
He would benefit from living in a quiet, rural neighbourhood where he can enjoy his walk without too many distractions.
