Stella is a 1-2 year old female Boxer cross Great Dane. She is our beautiful, affectionate girl who has recently come into us. She has made a big impression on all of the team and stolen all of our hearts. Stella is a big gentle giant being a Boxer cross Great Dane. Stella does not cope well in the kennel environment due to an ongoing issue of her separation anxiety. As much time, attention, effort and enrichment staff try to give her she still is not coping well and really needs to get into that loving home.
Stella can be a bit wary of meeting new people but once she gets to know them with a bit of encouragement and treats she will not stop playing and harassing people for fuss! When Stella is out and about on her walks and having pay time she is loving life! She loves to have a sprint around our meadow and play games with her human friends. Equally Stella will happily make herself comfortable in our flat and play with her toys and her Kong in the company of her favourite people. Or simply curl up and have snooze on the sofa.
Stella is looking for a home where the people in the household are willing to work with her separation anxiety. She will need a home where she isn’t left for hours or having someone home a lot of the time to help with the process of building her up to be left.
